Matt Carr founded MC Mortgage Solutions 25 years ago after working in private banking across Australia and London. He brings more than 25 years of finance and lending experience to every client relationship.
Matt specialises in home loans, investment lending, mortgage refinancing, and tailored finance strategies. His work has earned major industry recognition and strong peer respect.
Matt won Finance Broker of the Year for four consecutive years. He also ranked nationally as an Elite Business Writer and MPA Top 100 broker. In 2022, RateMyAgent named him Queensland Mortgage Broker of the Year.
Matt focuses on practical advice, clear communication, and finance strategies shaped around each client’s wider goals.
Phil Carr

With over 18 years of experience in the finance industry, he strives to achieve not only the best rate for a client but also the best customer experience. Prior to joining the MC Mortgages team, Phil was a Mobile Lending Manager with one of Queensland’s largest banks.
Phil decided to expand his knowledge & experience and joined the MC Mortgages Team in April of 2013. By February 2016, he was crowned the Best Newcomer by the Adviser Magazine and was a finalist for the National Newcomer of the Year award at the Australian Broking Awards of 2016.
Phil will help you grow and maintain a successful portfolio via his passion for property, people and service. Phil specialises in home, investment, business, and self-managed super funds, as well as industry specialisation lending. Phil isn’t all work… in his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his beautiful family.
Cameron Murray

Cameron has been a finance industry professional for the last 25 years within roles as Bank Manager & Lending Manager with two Queensland banks, and the last 10 years, a Mortgage Broker for boutique brokerage and accounting firms. Cameron joined our team in late 2017 as our Client Relationship Manager, who coaches our clients through and past their home loan journey.
With a Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management under his belt, coupled with a strong background in customer service, Cameron builds long-term relationships with each of our clients and business referral partners.
Creating a positive client experience is what sets him apart from the rest. His unwavering enthusiasm and attention to detail make him an asset to the MC Team. “ I pride myself on making sure my clients are well placed and very well informed during the enquiry, application and settlement process.

Donna has a background in Education and is passionate about Financial Literacy. When Donna was teaching, her favourite topics were Tax and Home Loans. She firmly believes that people need to have the knowledge about money in order to make informed decisions. Since leaving the classroom, Donna has taken up the role of Office Manager.
